- Types of Members
The members of the Kyushu Composers Association are as follows:
- Members: Composers residing or originating from Kyushu, as well as those who support the association's mission
- Student Members: Students residing or originating from Kyushu who support the association's mission
- Honorary Members: Former chairs and those who have contributed significantly to the association's development over many years
- Supporting Members: Individuals or organizations that support the association's mission
- Membership Qualifications
To be eligible for regular membership, an applicant must have a history of composition activities and receive recommendations from two current members. For student membership, the applicant must be a student currently studying composition and receive recommendations from two current members. After submitting the membership application to the secretariat, official membership is granted following approval at a general meeting (held in March and September as a rule).

- Member Benefits
Members are eligible to participate in various activities, including KCA-hosted events such as the Kyushu Contemporary Music Festival and KCA Spring Concert, as well as international exchange programs such as the Yeongnam International Contemporary Music Festival (Korea) and the East Asia International Contemporary Music Festival (Japan, China, Korea). Members may enter KCA-hosted events with their membership cards. Members receive the KCA newsletter and the Journal, and may also contribute articles and activity information. Supporting Member Benefits: Supporting members receive invitations to KCA-hosted events, the KCA newsletter and Journal. Corporate supporting members have their organization names listed in KCA event programs.
