On Wednesday, August 23, 2023, the Mayor of Nagasaki held a meeting with the Association's chair.
The Association presented an outline of the 41st Kyushu Contemporary Music Festival to be held on Saturday, September 30th, as well as our organization's history and international exchange with neighboring countries.
The Mayor emphasized that it is invaluable for Kyushu, starting with Nagasaki, to unite in hosting such an event, and assured us of maximum support from Nagasaki City.
Furthermore, the Mayor expressed the hope that the Association's efforts contribute to fostering a "culture of peace" in which many people at home and abroad think about, act upon, and expand circles of peace through music.
