The 36th Kyushu and Okinawa Contemporary Music Festival held on September 17 (Saturday) at Kagoshima International University Hall 8 Mini Concert Hall concluded successfully with many attendees. We sincerely thank all who attended, offered words of encouragement, and supported us in various ways. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to invited composer Jae-hee Kim and executive director Chang-min Park from South Korea's Yeongnam Composers Association, all cooperative members, Kagoshima International University, the Classical Music Promotion Association (NPO), and many others who provided assistance. Most of all, we express our deepest gratitude to the young performers who engaged passionately with their works and pursued their ideals to the very end, and to the students who supported us as staff and coordinators.
